Luckily, it is also a city where you can still have your umbrella repaired in the very center of the city, in this adorable spot, Živković.

The small shop packed with umbrellas of all sizes, colors and ages is a testimony of a time when things were not as disposable as today and when even umbrellas were made to last for years.

Still, just the fact that this place exists makes me smile a little and feel strangely reassured every time I pass Višnjićeva Street.
